Betty Lee Minott, 80, of Moweaqua died December 27, 2010 (7:20 a.m.) in her home.
Services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 30, 2010 in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua with Pastor Lloyd Johnson officiating.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday also in Seitz Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to First Christian Church of Moweaqua or Moweaqua Fire Department.
Burial will be in Westside Cemetery, Moweaqua.
Betty was born May 3, 1930 in Decatur, Illinois the daughter of Harry L. and Edna L. (Asa) Dickerson.
She married William Minott, Jr. on June 5, 1948 in West Salem, Illinois. He preceded her in death on December 23, 1985.
Betty was a Loving mother and fireman's wife. She was a member of First Christian Church of Moweaqua. Betty was a former board member for the Moweaqua City Council, Moweaqua Township Cemetery Board, and Moweaqua Women's Club.
Surviving are her sons Larry, and wife Jill Minott, and William, and wife Marti Minott all of Moweaqua; daughters Diane, and husband Mark Jostes of East Peoria, Barbara J, and husband Robert Hutton of Riverton and Mary Ann, and husband Michael Sprague of Richardson, TX; daughter-in-law Cindy Minott of Moweaqua; sisters Dub Moore, Lucille Pyatt and Linda Webb all of Moweaqua; 18 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, two step grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her husband, son James L., grandson Marshall and parents.
