Felix Caloccia, 91, of Cokeburg, died unexpectedly Saturday April 19, 2003, in the Emergency Department of The Washington Hospital.

He was the oldest living male resident of Cokeburg. He was born Nov. 11, 1911, in Corfino, Italy, a son of Francesco and Anna Pelina Didemario Caloccia.

Mr. Caloccia retired in 1974 with 44 years of service from Bethlehem Mine No. 60, where he was a mason and a loader. He was a 69-year member of Ave Maria Parish in Bentleyville, the United Mine Workers of America, the Sons of Italy No. 609 of Cokeburg, Eagles of Bentleyville, and the Loyal Order of Moose, Cokeburg.

He is survived by one son, Frank Caloccia of New Eagle; one daughter, Regina Ambrose of Cokeburg; three grandchildren, Juliann Romasco, Dana Lusk and Lisa Cicci; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Luigi Caloccia of Toronto, Canada; one sister, Lydia Tiberrie of Corfino, Italy; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Caloccia was preceded in death by his wife, Amelia Caloccia, on Nov. 3, 1990; and two brothers, Pelino and Pasquale Caloccia. Friends will be received in the GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 619 Main St., Bentleyville. Prayers will be held followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Ave Maria Church, Bentleyville with the Rev. John B. Lendvai as celebrant. Interment will be in Scenery Hill Cemetery
