Lola May Pearman Crawley, 66, of Nebo, NC died peacefully Saturday, May 11, 2002, at her home after a short illness.

She was born March 7, 1936 in Watauga County, NC and was the daughter of the late Robert Pearman and Maudie Barlowe Pearman.

Mrs. Crawley was retired from Western Carolina Center in Morganton, NC.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Irene Pearman Davis and her brother, Robert J. Pearman.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Crawley, Sr.; a daughter and son-in-law, Carole Crawley and Bruce Pilgrim; 2 sons, Joe Crawley, Jr. and Abner Colin Crawley and a grandson, Christopher Ryan Pilgrim.

A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2002 at the Western Carolina Center Chapel, Enola Road, Morganton, NC.
