My Grandpa was a wonderful, kind hearted Soul. He was a mechanic, raced sprint cars and a farmer throughout his life. He grew up in Nebraska and South Dakota. He was Married to Thelma and had two daughters. They divorced and he met my Grandma (Katherine) and they had one daughter (My mom Betty).

He moved to Oregon in the early 60's and had a large ranch in Melrose. In the mid 60's he sold the ranch and bought a ranch in Yoncalla, Oregon. He was a very hard worker and continued to raise animals and tend to a large garden on the property before his death at 90 1/2 years old.

He loved to watch the Atlanta Braves and Car Racing. I am researching information that he has a plaque at the Museum in Iowa.
