On May 10, 1911, she was married to William M. McCrary at Shelton. The marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on January 3, 1917. The couple farmed at Ririe, Shelton, and Osgood, moving to Idaho Falls in 1931. Mr. McCrary died March 25, 1963.
An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she had been a stake missionary, temple worker, and had worked in the Primary and Relief Society.
Survivors include two brothers, Elmer R. Newman and Rulon M. Newman, both of Shelley, Idaho; two sisters, Ruth Westwood of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Mrs. Jay (Verla) Fisher Davis of Sugar City, Idaho.
