Married first Ann ? in Wisconsin by 1839. They had three children: Thomas in about 1839, Mary Ann in about 1841 and Margaret Alice in about 1843, all in Jefferson, Hazel Green, Grant, WI. Married Mary Beavan Wheeler in 1848 in Dubuque Co., IA and soon moved back to Jefferson. Mary had two children of her own with her first husband George Wheeler: Ann Wheeler and George Beavan Wheeler.
