Benjamin "Pat" Gilmour

Benjamin "Pat" Gilmour, 57 years old, died suddenly at 10:30 o'clock Sunday night at the home, 217 Johnson Street, West Terre Haute. He is survived by the widow, Margaret; five daughters, Mrs. John Hill, Mrs. Harry Drake, Mary Gilmour, Jean Gilmour, and Anna Gilmour; a son, Alex Gilmour; a stepson, Joseph McManus; one brother, Jason, and two sisters, Mary Condran and Janie Werner. The body was taken to the Thomas Funeral Home pending completion of funeral arrangements.

*Note: Isaac was the only brother living at the time of Benjamin's death, so the handwriting must have been misinterpreted as "Jason".

*Note: Benjamin's birthdate is listed as 1879 on his tombstone although Scottish records list his birth as 1878. In the British 1881 census, he is listed in the household of his maternal grandparents, Isaac Park and Margaret Thom on Boglemart Street in Stevenston with his mother and sister, Mary.
