Funeral services for Mrs. Oris "Velma" Burchett, 65, of 6 Oberfell, Phillips, will be at 10 a.m. Friday from Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Robert Presnall, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating.

Interment will be Friday afternoon in West Park Cemetery in Hereford under the direction of Minton Mortuary.

Mrs. Burchett, a resident of Phillips since 1945, died Wednesday afternoon in North Plains Hospital.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and was a native of Deaf Smith County.

Survivors include her husband, G.W. of the home; one son, A.W. "Red" Dawson of Borger; two brothers, Alvin Carroll and Onias Carroll, both of Hereford; and two grandsons, Mark and Dane Dawson.

Casketbearers will be C.K. Shores, V.G. Paxton, Ed Pennington, Roy McDowell, Ray Crocket, Genn Hamilton.
