Meta Rudolf was born August 12, 1900 to Pastor and Mrs. Chas. Urwiller Fuehrer, and passed away Thursday, July 27 at her home in Grand Island, after being in failing health for several years.

She attended school in Sutton, Hastings and Archer. She was married to Louie Rudolf on June 3, 1920 at Archer. They made their home on a farm in the Archer community until health caused Mr. Rudolf to retire in February 1943. The family resided in Central City until 1946 when they moved to Grand Island. He passed away in October of 1951. She continued to make her home in Grand Island where she had employment with several doctors until 1962.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Wesley Ita of Grand Island and Mrs. John Harris of Plainfield, Ill.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Emma Rembolt and Mrs. Della Zamzow of Grand Island; Gertrude Fuehrer of Fargo, N. Dakota, and Mrs. William Stewart of Plainfield, Ill.; a brother, Donald Fuehrer of Cass Lake, Minn.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded n death by her parents, husband, two brothers, and an infant sister and brother.
