Family lore is that Ephraim was involved in the Boston Tea Party and the Battle of Bunker Hill.
Some report that his hears & nose were frozen off at Valley Forge & that he became separated from his family. Later his sons William & Daniel heard about a man fitting the description of their father & went & got him. Parents: Isaac Doty and Mary Reynolds.
