Citizens News Obituary - James Preston Eakle, 69, of Charlotte, NC died September 20, 2008. He was born July 27, 1939, a son of the late Dr. John Camden and Velma Cutlip Eakle. Also preceding him in death was his step son Jason Sartin. He was a graduate of Sutton High School in 1957 and WV Wesleyan College, Buckhannon, WV where he received a degree in Business Administration and History. He was retired. He is survived by his wife, Debra Fern Sartin Eakle; one son James Preston Eakle II of Vero Beach Fla., 3 daughters Tammy Ragno of Boynton Beach, Fl, Tracy Frank of Vero Beach, Fla. and Debbie Rybicki of Charlotte, NC; 2 brothers John Eakle of Canton, Ohio and Ben Eakle of Kingsport, TN; and seven grandchildren Max, Nick and Harry Ragno of Boynton Beach, Fla., CaydenRybicki of Charlotte, NC and Lukas, Isaac, & Lauren Sartin of Little Birch.WV. A memorial graveside service was held at 10 am on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at Sutton Cemetery, Sutton, WV.
