GOLA—Funeral services for Thelma L. Gola, 67, of Bay City will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, June 16, 1999 at First United Pentecostal Church in Bay City, with Rev. Marvin Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Van Vleck.
Mrs. Gola died June 13 at Bay Villa Nursing Home. She was born Feb. 9, 1932 in Sargent to the late Larkin Jasper and Myrtle Dean Mullings Brumley.
She was a lifelong member of First United Pentecostal Church and devoted her life to God and her family. She was a lifelong resident of Bay City and with her husband, owned and operated Color Mart in Bay City for more than 30 years.
Mrs. Gola is survived by her husband, Charles L. (Charlie) Gola of Bay City; daughter and son-in-law, Deanna and Robb Brewer of Phoenix; son and daughter-in-law, Church and Donna Gola of Cedar Larne; sisters, Frankie Socha of Magnolia, Hazel Andrews of Bay City, and Faye Hadley of Chatom, Ala.; brother, Jack Brumley of Bay City; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son Jesse Earl Gola on May 22, 1966; sisters, Wanda Jo Smith and Edna Stone; and two brothers, Austin and H. T. Brumley.
Pallbearers will be Kerry Gola, Bobby Brady, Jr. Michael Stuart, Ronnie Young, Jeremy Wallace, Travis Wallace, and Chad Wallace.
