Daniel Bushhousen, 81, a former resident of Grand Island, died last night in Ravenna. Mr. Bushhousen was born in Ohio Mar. 10, 1866. His family came to Nebraska ten years later, settling on a farm near Rockville, where he lived until his retirement in 1910 when he moved to Grand Island living here until 1923. Since then he had made his home in Ravenna.

Mr. Bushhousen was married to Mrs. Amelia Rupeter, who died in 1902. In 1914, he married Miss Annie Babcock, who survives. He also leaves four children, Mrs. Oswald Peterson of Grand Island, Mrs. Jake Koch of Ainsworth, Mrs. Rosie Dietrich of Minneapolis, and Art Bushhousen of Wood River; two brothers, Hank Bushhousen of Rockville and Charles Bushhousen of Lincoln; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
