Emma Conner Knobb Allen was the daughter of George Conner. Emma had a son named Harvey by a previous marriage. Emma married Samuel Allen on March 6, 1890 at Golden, Mo. She had mothered 10 children, 6 live births by Samuel Allen; one by her first husband. One of the three that died was a daughter named Becky. Becky was either buried in Ok or Mo. Emma Allen died suddenly in 1913. The story is told that one day Sam had gone fishing and caught a lot of fish. They cleaned them and ate them for supper. After supper she became ill and decided to lie down for awhile. Emma never awoke.
