A memorial service for Lark Samuel Campbell, 60, of Sweetwater, will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Rev. Ward Hayes officiating.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, July 25, 2011, at McCoy Funeral Home.

Campbell died Friday, July 22, 2011, at his home.

He was born July 27, 1950, in Roscoe. He married Melisa Rawlings in 2003 in Sweetwater.

Lark was a graduate of Sweetwater High School and attended San Angelo State University. He was a lifelong resident of Sweetwater and worked for USG for 35 years as a fork lift operator.

Survivors include his wife, Melisa Campbell of Sweetwater; daughter, Valerie Rivera of Fort Worth; step-sons, Cliff Forbes of Sweetwater and Toby Forbes of Sweetwater; sister, Martha Rippy of Sweetwater; brothers, Eddy Campbell and wife Emily of Sweetwater, Joel Campbell and wife Regina of Midland and Randall Campbell and wife Pam of Cross Plains; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Lee Campbell on May 21, 1986 and Christine Inell Campbell on Nov. 6, 2003.
