Rodney Benninghove was listed as his lodger with Miles Young. Miles was listed as working as a clerk at an electrical store and Rodney as a bookkeeper for a laundry. Rodney was 12 year younger. Miles and Rodney owned a restaurant called "Our House" and lived together on 1519 Spruce Street in Philadelphia. In 1950 he is listed in the city directory as living at 329 S. 13th Street. On Rodney's death certificate, Miles was the informant. Cause of death is listed as a convulsion at work causing a laceration to the head. Rodney was also listed as a waiter at a café. I believe Miles was his life partner. Miles had been married in 1918 but had separated from his wife before the 1930 census. They never divorced.
