Mrs. Florentine Gross, 48, 404 Main Street, died unexpectedly today at her home. She and her family moved to Hays from Great Bend last November.

Survivors include the husband, Clarence; four daughters, Mrs. Leroy (Shirley) Tackett, Nunn, Colo., Mrs. Lyle (Serena) Tembrick, Spearville, Kan., Sandy and Sheila, both at home; a son, Stanley, Wichita; nine grandchildren; three brothers, Wendelin Unrein, Hays, Tony, Wichita, Leo, Tucson, Ariz.; eight sisters, Mrs. Fred Richmeier, Mrs. Paul Kreutzer, both of Hays, Mrs. Melchoir Gabel, Munjor, Mrs. Ludwig Rohr, Wichita, Mrs. Victor Dechant, Tucson, Mrs. Leonard Schaffer, Liebenthal, Mrs. George Wolf, LaCrosse, Mrs. Matilda Sauer, California.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Church Cemetery. Friends may call at Brock's North Hill Chapel from 7 p.m. today until service time.
