Mrs. Joseph Newman
Mrs. Alma Ice Newman, wife of Joseph Newman, of Bebee, Proctor district, died at her home on Wednesday morning at 9:10 following illness of sometime. She was a native of Proctor, and was born on April 23, 1890, a daughter of Samuel and Emma West O'Neil.
Surviving is her husband, and three children: A. V. Newman, of West Post Office; Mrs. Auttie Lou Higgins, of New Martinsville; and Kenneth Newman at home; one grandchild and a sister Mrs. Ester Yoho of Woodland.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 at the Friendship church in charge of Rev. W. J. Sliter of the First Christian Church of New Martinsville. Interment will be in the North View Cemetery under the direction of the Wharton Funeral Service.
