Mary O. Butler
ELLISVILLE - Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. today at the Centerville Baptist Church for Mary O. Butler, 71, of Soso, who died Oct. 11, 1995, at the South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel.
The Rev. John Hilbun will officiate. Interment will be in the Centeville Baptist Cemetery in Soso.
Pallbearers will be Don Roney, Victor Roney, Chris Butler, Todd Butler, Gregg Butler and Keith Culpepper.
Mrs. Butler was a lifelong resident of Jones County and a member of the Centerville Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Nolen, Wallace, Theodore, Bradford and Austin Abercrombie and one sister, Ruth Abercrombie.
Survivors include her husband, A. D. Butler Jr. of Soso; a son, Harold T. Butler of Pascagoula; three daughters, Mary Ellen Roney and Judy Culpepper, both of Soso and Margaret Reeves of Laurel; three brothers, Bill Abercrombie of Bruce, Paul Abercrombie of Soso and David Abercrombie of Mt. Olive; six sisters, Opal Rhodes of Sharon, Eddie Mae Morgan of Moselle, Jean Denley of Bruce, Louollie Knight of Gitano, Velma Doris Nichols of Mt. Olive and Lorretta Grice of Ellisville; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. .
Jones Funeral Home in Ellisville is in charge of arrangements.
