Frank Ropp
The funeral for Frank Ropp, 81, was Friday at the Ballard Funeral Home. Mr. Ropp died July 23 at the West Park Long Term Care Center.
Services were conducted by the Rev. Freeman McCall.
Ropp loved to hunt, fish and do yard work. He also liked to work on cars. He was employed for many years in the oil fields, working in Midwest, Baroil and Oregon Basin.
He enjoyed telling his granchildren stories.
He was born Jan. 6, 1904 in Perkins, Okla. His parents were William and Martha Ellen Parks Ropp. He married Mable A. Randolph in Fredonia, Kan. June 29, 1925. He lived in the Cody area about 42 years.
He is survived by one brother, Walter Ropp of Deer Creek, Okla., and four grandchildren, Donal Lee Roat of Salt Lake City and William Dee Roat and Henry Earl Roat both of Oakridge, Ore., and Mrs. Hazel Kelin of Laurei/ JHe os a;sp sirvoved by 10 great grandchildren.
He was a member of the Cody Eagles.
Pallbearers included Harry Klein, Lloyd House, Don Roat, Wesley Grubb, Bill Roat and Earl Roat.
