Son of the late Grover Cleveland and Sadie Price Anderson Truslow, he was preceded in death by a son, George Truslow; three brothers and three sisters. He was survived by his wife, Virginia Byrum Truslow; a son, Grover C. Truslow (Adele); a daughter, Ginny T. Kennerly (Ben); a brother, Dr. Roy Truslow; three grandchildren, Amanda T. Hopkins (Anthony), Jennifer A. Freeman and Christopher R. Freeman; two great-grandchildren, Alexis Hopkins and Logan Hopkins; and an extended family of relatives and friends. He worked as a banker. His funeral was held on July 220, 2011, at the First Baptist Church of Lumberton, NC, with The Rev. Dr. Ralph Richardson and The Rev. David Elks officiating.
