Mae I. Bobeck, of Miner Street, in the Hudson section of Plains Township, died Sunday at Hospice Community Care, Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Hudson, she was the daughter of the late John and Caroline Domin Bobeck. She was a lifelong resident of Hudson and was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Hudson. She was a second-grade teacher at Cotton Avenue School in Hudson. She was preceded in death by her sister, Cecilia Zielinski; brothers, the Rev. Louis, the Rev. Henry, Tony and John Bobeck. Surviving are her sister, Isabelle Yuscavage, Mountaintop; brother, Dr. Joseph Bobeck, Sugar Notch; niece, Helene Zielinski, with whom she resided; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church, Hudson. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
