Carrie Sims Corbitt. 70, of Coolville, OH, died Tuesday at the home of her son, Charles Corbitt, Jr. here.
Born in Roane County, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Martha Sims. She was amember of Coolville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband Charles Corbitt, Sr.; another son Albert M. of Parkersburg; three daughters, Mrs. Martha Allen of Parkersburg, Mrs. Geraldine Stone of Coolville, and Mrs. Donna Lynch of Palestine; three sisters Mrs. Estal Edwards, of Akron, O., Mrs. Ana Bennett of Palestine, and Ema Sims of Palestine; 22 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Friday at 2 p.m. at the Pomery Funeral Home Chapel here with the Rev. Charles Wilkinson and the Rev. S. A. Scott officiating. Burial was in Palestine Cemetery.
