Mrs. Arlene Anderson, age 72, of Candler, Florida passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2011 at Tuscany House Hospice in Summerfield, Florida. She was born in Amlin, Ohio and moved to Candler, Florida in 1979 from Port Charlotte, Florida. She attended Faith Baptist Church and was a great supporter of mission work. She along with her husband, were members of the "Goldwing Riders Association". Arlene loved sewing, cooking, traveling, camping, water skiing and boating, but most of all loved spending time with her loving family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, James Milton Geese. She is survived by loving husband of (50) years, James "Verl" Anderson of Candler, FL; her daughters, Shelly L. Drummond of Roanoke, IN; and Cristy L. McGuire of Churubusco, IN; her mother, Maryetta Patton of Coldwater, MI; her brothers, James Geese of Ft. Wayne, IN. and John Geese of New Haven, IN; her sisters, Cora Foupht of Coldwater, MI. and Mary Lou Hamilton of Galloway, OH.; her (12) loving grandchildren and (21) loving great-grandchildren. There will be a Graveside service on Friday, July 22, 2011 at 11:00 AM, at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 5050 S.W. 20th Street, Ocala, FL. 34474. Roberts Funeral Homes, Downtown Chapel, 606 S.W. 2nd Avenue, Ocala, Florida 34471, is in charge of arrangements.
