Ethel Muriel Pritchett of Springfield, formerly of Doe Run, passed away on July 12, 2002, at Woodland Manor at the age of 90 years.

She was born on September 25, 1911, at Bangert, MO, the daughter of the late Franklin and Phoebee Katherine (Foust) Counts.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred Thomas Pritchett, by a son, Jack Pritchett, by a son-in-law, Robert Killian, by a daughter-in-law, Gloria Pritchett, by two brothers, Jewell "Peck" And Arthur Counts and an infant sister, Cora Counts.

She is survived by two daughters, Norma Killian of Farmington and Leanna (Mrs. David) Thomure of Springfield; by five sons: Dick Pritchett and wife Carol of Farmington; John Pritchett and wife Mary of Boerne, TX, Bill Pritchett and wife Jean of Farmington; Rev. Fred Lee Pritchett and wife Bonnie of Springfield and Tom Pritchett and wife Marilyn of Doe Run; by a sister, Jerdie Hartle of Millersville; by two sisters-in-law, Eula (Sis) Counts of Cuba and Glenda Pritchett of Farmington; by 24 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.

Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive.

Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Cozean Memorial Chapel on Sunday, July 14, 2002.

Funeral services will be held at the Cozean Memorial Chapel on Monday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. James Lacey officiating.

Burial will follow at the Doe Run Memorial Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and the Doe Run Memorial Cemetery Fund.
