MARY ASHLEY DIES, RITES ARE PENDING
Rotan – Miss Mary Catherine Ashley, 83, longtime resident of Fisher County, died at 6:45 p.m. Monday in Callan Hospital here following a lengthy illness.
Services are pending at Weathersbee Funeral Home here.
She was born Dec. 7, 1886, in Bonham, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Ashley and came to Fisher County with her parents 60 years ago.
She was a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include three brothers, Marvin of Roby, Clarence of Mission and Ambrus of Tucumcari, N. M.; three sisters, Mrs. L. E. Parker of Odessa, Mrs. A. M. Dry of Roby, and Mrs. L. E. Latham of Rotan.
