Roby - Marvin Ashley, 91, died Saturday at his home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Weathersbee Funeral Home Chapel in Rotan with the Revs. Loren Gardner and Alvin Petty officiating. Burial will be in Roby Cemetery.
Born in Fannin County, he was a longtime Roby resident. He was a retired farmer and a veteran of World War I.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie Holcomb Ashley; a daughter, Meta Johnson of Brownwood; two stepdaughters, Wanda Kiker of Roby and Wilma Miles of Suisun City, Calif.; five stepsons, Woody Holcomb of Dublin, D. A. Holcomb of Galt, Calif., and Gene Holcomb, Dr. Wayne Holcomb and Sammy Holcomb, all of Midland; a sister, Clara Latham of Rotan; three grandsons; 21 step-grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
