Mayme Dennis. Mayme was born Sept. 14, 1921 to William and Cecil Kaderly in Etterville, Missouri. She died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012 at home, surrounded by her family. On Sept. 4, 1941 she married Wayne Dennis in Independence, MO. For 17 years they owned and operated the Dennis Jersey Dairy in Durham, CA.
Mayme enjoyed fishing, camping, watching her "boys" play softball and cooking for her family and friends. She was an active member of the Chico Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Larry; her loving husband; her parents; and four brothers. Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Hedman of Canyon Country; a son, Rick of Chico; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, Dick Kaderly of North Highlands and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at the Seventh Day Adventist Church at 1877 Hooker Oak Ave. here in Chico. Memorial contributions may be made to Enloe Hospice or to the Chico Oaks Adventist School, in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.brusiefh.com.
