A message from Powell, N.D., announces the death of Mrs. John McCammon, a pioneer of Oxford, Johnson county, aged 56. Surviving are her husband and six children - Mesdames Blanche Bonorden, Chelsea, Ia., daughter-in-law of Iowa City's former city solicitor: Maggie Guenther, Powell, N. D.; Flora Bartholomew, Washington, Iowa; and Ruth, Roy and Irwin of Oxford. Her mother, three sisters, and two brothers survive - Mrs. Angeline Yenter, Oxford: Mrs. John Yenter, Oxford: Mrs. Joe Hutchinson, Colorado: Mrs. James Shirk, California: and Albert and Louis Yenter, Oxford. The funeral took place yesterday at Oxford. She was a woman of many excellent qualities, and many friends will mourn.
