Mrs Levina Cryderman (Mrs William Cryderman) formerly of Dafter, passed away at her home 4538 61st Ave. S.E. in Portland, Oregon at 8:20 p.m. Monday, March 27, 1939.

Mrs. Cryderman was born at Goderich, Ontario, December 18, 1866 and came to Michigan with her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. John Brindley, when she was very young.On January 1, 1884, she was married to William Cryderman of the Sault. Eleven years after their marriage they moved to the farm 1 mile west of the nine mile corner on the Pickford road where they lived until Mr. Cryderman's death in 1929.

Mrs.Cryderman is survived by seven children, William of Dafter, Joe of Salt Point, Forrest of the Sault, Mrs. Albert Reich (Ida) of the Sault, and Russell, Basil and Lester, all of Dafter. Two daughters , Mrs. James Ball and Sadie, preceded her in death. Also surviving are 44 grandchildren, one of whom, Fred Ball of White Cloud, Mich., made his home with his grandparents after the death of mother when he was one month old; four sisters, Mrs. Margaret Ames and Miss Sarah E. Brindley of Portland.Mrs. John R. Sourby of Zion, Ill., and Mrs. John Steel of the Sault; and two brothers, John J. Brindley of Portland and William J. Brindley of Pickford.

Mrs.Cryderman was a member of the Baptist church of Portland.

Funeral arrangementsare incomplete pending the arrival of the body in the Sault. Tentative plans are that the remains will be sent from Portland Thursday, arriving in the Sault on Monday afternoon. Burial will be in Donaldson cemetery.
