John McCreary
John McCreary, age 42, died Wednesday night at 9:30 o'clock in the home one mile east of Osceola after a two year illness.
He was born in Penn township, St. Joseph county, Sept. 3, 1889, the son of Henry and Nora McCreary. With the exception of ten years in Iowa and Minnesota, he spent his life in Osceola.
Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Ida Belle Clark McCreary, whom he married Dec. 20, 1911, in Iowa; eight children, Clifford of Iowa, Evelyn, Marvin, Jeanette, Kathryn, Richard, Thelma and Henry, at home; one sister, Mrs. Hazel Eger, Penn township; and brothers, Henry and Hiram of Elkhart, Ind.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock in Bethel Brethren Church, Osceola. Burial will be in Cleveland Union Cemetery.
