Mrs. Henry McCleary Dead
Nora D., wife of Henry McCleary, who had been ill for seven months, passed away at the family residence five miles northeast of Mishawaka, Monday morning, aged 27 years, two months and 21 days. She was formerly Miss Nora D. Kantz, and was a daughter of Hiram Kantz, who resides in Elkhart county, Indiana.
She was born in Snyder county, Pennsylvania, Aug. 31, 1867, and came to this county from Pennsylvania. In 1887 she was married to Henry McCleary in Elkhart.
Besides the husband and father, she leaves three sons, Herman, John and Hiram McCreary; one daughter, Mrs. L. B. Thornton of Elkhart county; and three brothers, Calvin Kantz of Lake County, Mich., Charles W. and Ernest J. Kantz of Elkhart county.
Mrs. McCreary was an estimable woman and her untimely death is mourned by relatives and many friends.
The funeral will be held from the house at 10 o'clock Thursday morning. The remains will be conveyed to Cleveland Center Church, north of Elkhart, where the final services will be held. Interment at Cleveland Centery.
