Elizaida L. Arguello, 77, a resident of Arenas Valley, entered into eternal rest Thursday at Gila Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Arguello was born in Chamisal on June 17, 1917, to Diego Lovato and Juanity V. Lovato. Visitation will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Baca's Funeral Chapels. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. at Baca's Funeral Chapels with Mr. Paul Hernandez of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery. she is survived by her husband of 61 years, Eliud Arguello of Arenas Valley; nine children, Dora Garcia of Taos, Elfido Arguello and his wife, Louise, of Arenas Valley, Joe A. Arguello and his wife, Elizaida, of Chamisal, Felix Arguello and his wife, Rose, of Grants, John Arguello and his wife, Rose Mary, of Central, Eloisa Vasquez and her husband, Louie, of Minturn, Colo., Sophie Benavides of Albuquerque, Allen Arguello and his wife, Mary Hazel, of Tucson, Ariz., and Dale Arguello and his wife, Tamara, of Silver City; six brothers, Diego Lovato Jr. of Truth or Consequences, Rufino Lovato of Los Angeles, Jessie Lovato of Los Angeles, Donald Lovato of Grants, Uvaldo Lovato of Magna, Utah, and Franklin Lovato of Chamisal; and eight sisters, Mary Lovato of Taos, Elsie Rodarte of Chamisal, Virginia Herrera of Magna, Felicita Romero of Llano Largo, N.M., Mable Rios of Santa Fe, Diana Lovato of Trampas, N.M., Gloria Visavragas of West Jordan, Utah, and Neomi Gurule of Grants. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren. Casket bearers will be her grandsons, Aaron Arguello, Joe Arguello Jr., John Arguello Jr., Louie Vasquez Jr., Arthur Benavides and Juanito Velarde. Honorary casket bearer will be Stanley Argeullo. Entrusted to the care of Baca's Funeral Chapels.
