Obituary/Gloretta Hendricks, 95, of Paris, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2016 at Monroe Manor Nursing Home.

She was born on May 19, 1921 in Stoutsville, MO, the daughter of Edward and Doris Woodworth Long. Gloretta married J. B. Jones on June 10, 1940 and he preceded her in death on January 26, 1987. She, then, married Thomas Hendricks on August 19, 1988 in Paris, MO and he preceded her in death on September 19, 1994.

Gloretta is survived by two sons, Donnie (Jane) Jones of Paris and Paul (Brenda) Jones of Marshfield, MO; four daughters, Carol (Gerald) Roberts and Doris (Jerry) Mitchell, both of Paris, Janice Thompson of Mexico and Teresa (Jack) Turner of Columbia; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Paris.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Walnut Grove Cemetery with Reverend Wesley Hammond officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Senior Citizen Center.
