Funeral services for Cassyle Campbell Lawton, age 83, of West Monroe, Louisiana will be 10:00AM, Monday, July 18, 2011 at First Baptist Church in the the Feazel Chapel in West Monroe, Louisiana with Rev. Mark Fenn officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Grove City Cemetery, Oak Grove, Louisiana. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove.
After the funeral service there will be a private graveside service.
Mrs. Cassyle was born on October 6, 1927 in Oak Grove, Louisiana. She passed away in West Monroe, Louisiana on July 16, 2011.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Douglas C. Lawton; daughter, Eileen Lawton; parents, Percy Calvert Lawton and Etta Lenora Dickinson Lawton; two brothers, Marvin Lawton and Tucker Lawton; sister, Lorraine Campbell Hopson.
Cassyle is survived by her four children, Douglas T. Lawton and wife Gay of West Roxbury, Massachusetts, Henry F. Lawton and wife Donna of Greenwood, Arkansas, Christopher J. Lawton of McKinney, Texas, and Kathleen Lawton Carr of Monroe, Louisiana; sister, Maxine Campbell Rankin of West Monroe, Louisiana; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Randy Manning, Cecil Manning, Ronald Rankin, Scotty Irby, James Spivey, Jeff Jordan, Byron Carr.
