Frank Kearns, 56, Arcola Smith, Dies

Frank Harman Kearns, 56, blacksmith and prominent Arcola business man, died in his home at 10 p.m. yesterday.
Mr. Kearns came to Arcola, Feb. 20 1926, and opened a blacksmith shop and garage. He previously has operated a shop in Humboldt. he was a member of the Masonic lodge in Arcola and of the Christian church at Hugo.
Besides his wife he leaves six children, Harold, Dale and Albert Kearns, of Arcola; Merle and Armour, of Fort Lewis, Wash., and Mrs. Eugene Byerly, Arcola. He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Georgia Brook, Arcola and Mrs. May Woodworth, Decatur, and a brother, Walter Kearns, Butte, Mont.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The body is at the Shrader funeral home, Arcola.
