Lorenzo "Lencho" Apodaca. 53, a lifelong resident of Hanover. entered eternal rest Saturday at his residence in Belen. He was born to Jose F. and Luz Apodaca on Aug. 10. 1943, in Silver City. Mr Apodaca was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Lorenza Apodaca of Hanover; his mother, Luz Apodaca of Hanover; her sons, Albert and Joseph Apodaca, both of Hanover, and Lorenzo Apodaca of Las Cruces; four daughters, Lila V. Apodaca of Hanover, Frances De La 0 of Silver City, Debbie Taylor and her husband. Don, of Albuquerque, and Darlene Apodaca of Silver City four brothers, Rudy Apodaca and his his wife, Patricia, of Hanover. Tony Apodaca and his wife, Josefina, of Belen ,Rito Apodaca and his wife, Betty, of Bayard, and Miguel Apodaca and his wife Shirley, of Grants; a sister, Josephine Gallegos, and her husband Joe, of Grants; and one aunt, Petra Arciero of Hanover. He is also survived by nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Jose F. Apodaca; and two brothers, Jose Apodaca, Jr. and Jesus Apodaca. Pallbearers include Rudy, Tony, Mike and Rho Apodaca, Alfred Rascon and Michael Aguirre. Calling hours wilt he from 4-7 this evening at Baca's Funeral Chapels with Deacon Johnnie Perez reciting the rosary at 7. The funeral liturgy will he celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Holy Family CathoIic, Church in Hanover with the Rev. Paulus Kao officiating. Interment will follow at the Hanover. Cemetery. Entrusted to the care of Baca Funeral Chapels.
