Dagmar A. Squires, 88, Detroit Lakes, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003, in St. Mary's Regional Health Center, Detroit Lakes.

Dagmar Alice Klinger was born Dec. 13, 1914, in East Grand Forks, Minn. She graduated in 1932 from Grand Forks (N.D.) Central High School and later graduated from Union Business College, Grand Forks. She worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for a number of businesses and then for Bridgeman Creameries in Grand Forks for 12 years. She married F. A. Squires Sept. 3, 1942, in Minneapolis. They worked in the Minneapolis area. In 1950, they moved to Detroit Lakes where she was bookkeeper for Squires Motors, Gate City Savings and Loan, the Greystone Hotel and Squires Realty. Her husband Fay Squires, Her Parents,Her three Brothers,Her Son Steve C. Squires preceded her in death.

She is survived by her Bother and Sister In-law Daughter In-law Pam and two grandchildren Steven Andrew & Tarna Lynne.

Visitation: Sunday from 2 to 4 in David-Donehower Funeral Home, Detroit Lakes, and Monday from 10 to 11 in The Congregational Church, Detroit Lakes.

Funeral: Monday at 11 in the church.
