MR. I.W. PARKS OF PARKS CROSS ROADS DEAD
Mr. I. Wellons Parks, died at his home at Parks Cross Roads last week following several years illness from heart trouble. Mr. Parks was generally known as "Willie’’ Parks. He was named for Rev. Wellons, a minister In the christian church. . His son, Fields P. Parks died about a week ago from influenza at Punbroke, and was brought home for burial. Miss Mary Parks, a daughter has been ill since the death of her brother. Mr. Parks was sixty years of age. He is survived by his wife and the following sons and daughters: Clarence Parks, Franklinville, Grady Parks, Ramseur No, 1, Robert T. and Joseph and Miss Mary Parks at home and Mrs. H.E. Green, of Rocky Mount.
Mr. Parks is also survived by two brothers L.T. Parks of Franklinville and J. Rankin Parks of Siler City.
