HOFFMAN - William B., 92, South Fork R.D.1, died at 9:45 a.m. July 21, 1965, at Lee Hospital, Johnstown. Born Aug. 6, 1872, in Richland Township, son of Amos and Lydia (Worthinger) Hoffman. Survived by widow, the former Charlotte Barkley, and these children: Mrs. Elsie Smay, Conemaugh; Dibert, St. Michael; Mrs. Pearl Houghton, Harlem Springs, Ohio; Mrs. Mary Trees, South Fork R.D.1, with whom he resided, and Mrs. Alice Box, Sidman; also 14 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. Brother of Amzie, Michigan, and Earl and Irvin, both of Ohio. Preceded in death by daughter, Mrs. Stella Holland, and 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Member of of Lake Union Church. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday at George Funeral Home, South Fork, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, the Rev. Melvin Thomas. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery.
