Wilmas Raymond Purser of Paoli, Oklahoma was born to Ray and Obedience Mae (Casey) Purser on June 16, 1920 in Stigler, Oklahoma and passed from this life on July 12, 2011 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 91 years. Wilmas grew up and attended school at Stigler, Oklahoma. He then went to work in carpentry and farming. He also worked in the oil field as a roughneck. In 1952, Wilmas made his home west of Pauls Valley and later moved to Paoli, Oklahoma. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening, raising chickens, hogs, and cattle. He had a very soft heart for animals. Mr. Purser is survived by: Son: Jerry Purser and his wife Kay of Elmore City, Oklahoma 2 grandchildren: Danny Purser and Cathey Kelley 2 great-granddaughters: Maegan Kelley and Casey Kelley Mr. Purser was preceded in death by: His wife: Marguerita Jo Purser 3 brothers and 3 sisters
