Isadora Francis "Dora" King, daughter of Duncan Hardin King and Elizabeth Emily Bottom, was married a third time on Feb. 8, 1919, in Lake County, Indiana, to a man whose name was recorded on their marriage record as "Christopher H. VELEY". Her name on their marriage record was listed as "Isadora GUSS" - Guss being the surname of her 2nd husband.
They were also recorded on the 1920 census in Gary, Lake County, Indiana, as husband and wife but his surname was recorded on the Index as "DELEY". I examined the actual census record but I disagree with Deley being that man's surname. The first letter of his surname appears to me to be an O and not a D. And it's absolutely NOT a V. I've searched for records on this Christopher H. VELEY/DELEY/OELEY with no success. His 1920 census record listed him as 49 years old, born in Michigan, parents born in the USA and he worked as an Excavating Contractor.
