Mrs. Seth W. Porter, a pioneer Montanan, died of paralysis at the Stillwater Hospital in Columbus. Her husband died at Columbus four months ago.
Mr. and Mrs. Porter came to Montana in 1877, settling near Columbus, where they operated stock enterprises, also ranching.
She is survived by six children, Mrs. Nettie Mulvihill and Homer Porter of Columbus, Mrs. Florence Hanson and Mrs. Margaret Bull of Ellensburg, Washington; Mrs. Lena Hall of Pasco, Washington; James Porter of Sheridan, Wyoming; and 17 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Evangelical Church in Columbus.
