Dolores C. Arguello, 40, died in Tucson, Ariz., Thursday, April 28, following an extended illness. Mrs. Arguello was born in Santa Rita, and had lived in Grant County all of her life; She worked at the Beauty Inn as a beautician for a number of years. She is survived by her husband. Elfido Arguello, son Aaron Abel and a step-son Dale E. Arguello all of Arenas Valley, her mother, Mrs. Arquelira Contreras of. Arenas Valley, five sisters, Mrs. Elena Arellano of Silver City. Mrs. Elvira Curvas of Galveston, Tex., Esther Martinez, of Albq., N.M., Mrs. Alice Anaya of Madrid, Spain, and Miss Mary Lou Contreras of Albq., N.M. Also surviving her are four brothers Daniel Contreras of El Paso, Tex., Joe Contreras of Central. Frank Contreras of Morgantown. W. Virginia and Sam Contreras of Las Cruces. Memorial services for Mrs. Dolores C. Arguello were held Monday. May 2, at the Curtis Bright Funeral Chapel with Mr. Pablo Hernandez of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses conducting the services. Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 3, at the Curtis-Bright Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dick Ross of the First Baptist Church officiating. Interment followed in Memory Lane Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Samuel Contreras, Joe Contreras, Dale E. Arguello, Johnny. Arguello, Eliud Arguello and Frank Areflano.
