A. Appleby, a prominent farmer of Platte township, and his wife, both died recently within a day or two of each other. Both were in middle life and leave children grown in manhood. Mr Appleby had been failing for some time with consumption and his death was not unexpected. We are informed that the cause of Mrs A.'s death was lung fever.
