FINAL SUMMONS COMES FOR E. J. HALTERMAN

Elijah J. Halterman, 60, Twin Falls resident for 12 years, died at 4:30 o'clock Friday morning at the county general hospital here where he had been taken Thursday evening when he became seriously ill with a heart affection from which he had suffered for more than a year.
Funeral services, it was announced last evening will be held at the United Brethren church, corner of Third avenue and Third street east, at 2 P.M. Sunday. Rev. C. E. Lichty, Twin Falls, will conduct the services.
Interment will be in the Twin Falls cemetery. The body rests now at the Twin Falls mortuary.
Besides his widow, Mrs. Myrtle Halterman, Mr. Halterman is survived by four sons and five daugh
ters, Mrs. Huston Shirley, Boise; Mrs. Ernest Woolley, Mrs. Jake Pope, Elma Halterman, Earl Halterman, Pearl Halterman, George Halterman, Alvin Halterman and Lester Halterman all of Twin Falls. He leaves also three sisters, Mrs. Anna Heelan, Twin Falls, Mrs. Mollie Turner, Missouri and Mrs. Maggie Buhl, California.
The family came here from Boise 12-years ago.

MANY ATTEND SERVICES
FOR TWIN FALLS MAN

With largely attended funeral services in the United Brethren church here Sunday afternoon, a final tribute was paid to Elijah J. Halterman, 60, Twin Falls resident for 12 years who died here last Friday following ill health for more than a year. Services were conducted by Rev. C. E. Lichty, the sermon theme being a verse from the book of Job, “If a man die shall he live again?”
A Pentecostal church quartet sang “Sunshine in the Shadows” and a quartet composed of Miss Violet Kelty, Mrs. C. E. Lichty, Walter Graham and the Rev. Mr. Lichty sang two numbers, "No Dark Valleys” and “Beautiful Land”
Interment was in the Twin Falls cemetery. Pall bearers were O. M. Kelty, Harry Watt, Mr. Bennett, Walter Graham, Howard Douglas and Mr. Porter.
Mr. Halterman is survived by his widow and nine children, four sons and five daughters. The Family came to Twin Falls from Boise 12 years ago.
