Mrs. Caroline Golden Boatright, age 41, of Martin St., Mt.Zion, Ga., passed away at her residence on Tuesday, December 28, 2010. She was born May 8, 1969 in Carrollton, Georgia the daughter of Leon Golden and Carol Ashmore Perkins.

She is survived by her husband, Anthony Boatright; her loving daughter, Lauren Quick; mother and step father, Carol & Bob Perkins of Mt. Zion; father, Leon Golden of Mt.Zion; sisters, Melanie & David Wilson of Carrollton, Stephanie & Delton Tilley of Mt. Zion; brother, Joshua Ayers and Allison of San Jose, Costa Rica.

Mrs. Boatright was a 1987 graduate of Mt. Zion High School where she was a 4 year varsity cheerleader, a standout member of the Softball team and first runner up in the Junior Miss Mt. Zion Pageant. Following graduation she went on to play semi-pro softball. Caroline also attended West Georgia College, Dalton College and graduated from Carroll Tech. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 31, 2010 at 2 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Douglas Aultman and Dr. Dean Milford officiating.

Pallbearers will be Robbie Norton, Wade Dillard, Stan Reneau, Tab Williams, Tim Keaton and Chris Keaton. Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5 PM until 8 PM.
