Funeral services were held for Mattie M. Roberson, November 18, at the Macedonia United Methodist Church. Mrs. Roberson, 94, died November 15 at Martens Manor in Griswold. Rev. Robert Newberg officiated.
Mattie Frain Talbot Roberson, daughter of Geroge and Mary Frain, was born May 21, 1877 at Macedonia. She was married to Otto Roberson in 1902 and lived in Macedonia area all their lives. She was a member of the Macedonia Legion Auxilliary, the Helping Hand Circle and fifty-year member of the Macedonia Methodist Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ralph Kellogg of Macedonia, Mrs. Wallace Will of Carson and Mrs. Del Bossio of Santa Clara, Calif.; two sons, Fay Roberson and Dale Roberson of Carson; three brothers, Sylvester Frain of Loveland, Colo., Clarence Frain of Council Bluffs, and Ernest Frain of Lincoln, Nebr.; one sister, Mrs. Viola Houser of Martens Manor, Griswold; 23 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren and 11 great, great-grandchildren.
Interment was at Macedonia Cemetery.
