Florence A. Birmingham, 85, of Hyde St., Whitney Point, passed away at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Thursday, June 27, 2002. She was predeceased by her husband, Leo V. Birmingham; one daughter-in-law, Kristin Bennett Birmingham; three sisters; seven brothers; and her parents, John B. and Mary Ann Finder. She is survived by her family, Dorothy Birmingham, CeceliaMydlowski, John Birmingham, Leo A. (Tony) Birmingham, Norma and George Cushner, Mary Ann Birdsall, Joyce and John Buck, WilliamBirmingham, D. Joann Birmingham, Frances Birmingham, Susan andWilliam Wiese, Steven ReneeBirmingham; 19 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Florence was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Whitney Point, a member of it's Hospitality Group and Teacher of it's Religious Education Classes. Services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. from the Nichols Funeral Home, Whitney Point, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. from St. Patrick's Church, Whitney Point. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Whitney Point. The family will receive friends at the Nichols Funeral Home, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Expressions of sympathy, in her memory may be made to Mary Wilcox Memorial Library, Whitney Point, the Whitney Point Fire Department, or the American Red Cross.
