Emmajean (Jeanie) Dolbee Sheets was born Sept 30, 1928, in Lansing, MI to Margaret (LaClear) and William Dolbee, she was the oldest of three children. Her brother Robert (Bobby) was born in 1930 and sister Joyce in 1932. On April 2, 1949, she married Paul Ray Sheets in Maple Rapids. Together they had six children Vic, Sharon, Connie, Tim, Deanna, and Stacey. Jean loved her children and grandchildren very much; you never saw her much without one of them with her. You can almost bet stop anyone in Crystal and ask them about Jeanie Sheets and they will instantly light up and start rambling about her famous Fish Frys at the Lakeside Bar and Grill, or her witty comments she could toss back at her customers as she served them drinks at the Uptown Bar. There was definitely a huge part of Crystal lost the day Jeanie passed away. Loved and respected by so many, Missed by all. (written by her granddaughter Amanda Sheets)
